Vanessa is a British American poet back in her native Yorkshire and a Word Up North New Northern Poet 2025. She has been published in places such as Poetry Wales, Mom Egg Review, Stanchion Zine, Humana Obscura and Free Verse Revolution. Her pamphlets include ‘Various Magics’ (Black Cat Poetry Press) and ‘Birds and Bruises’ (Kelsay Books). She loves to write about nature, place (from the LA cityspace to the local moors), relationships and cults.
